Project Summary
VEDA Associates were employed by Dyer and Butler as Temporary Works Engineer on the London Overground Capacity Improvement Programme (LOCIP). The scheme involved platform extensions on 17no. stations across the North London Line.
A wide range a temporary works designs including, embankment stability checks, embankment piling mats, scaffold design checks, timber hoardings, crane lifts & stabilisation of boundary walls during excavation were carried out during the project.
A Form 002 Statement of Design Intent, F003 Design Certificate and Check and Design Risk Assessments were prepared and submitted for each temporary works design.
As part of the project the platform extensions required the replacement of three OLE structures, VEDA were employed to design the foundations required for the replacement structures at Finchley Road & Frognal and Dalston Kingsland Stations.
