Q-AV Cable Management

WHY IS IT DIFFERENT?
Unlike plastic trunking or other cable management systems, the Q-AV System is positioned over the skirting and takes cables down to floor level which means cables can be routed under floor or carpet, or directly along the skirting board. There is also a mouse hole to take cables directly to your equipment cabinet if required.

CAN THE SYSTEM BE CUT TO SIZE?
If the screen is mounted say 750mm above floor level then it may be possible to place the top of a 850mm Cable Management System up under the base of the screen, this will depend on the depth and type of the screen wall bracket. The system can be cut easily, although care should be taken to avoid an untidy edge.

HOW IS IT MORE DISCREET?
Choosing a finish to match the screen or painting to match wall colour gives a stylish, unobtrusive appearance. Q-AV Cable Management also deals well with uneven walls and surface irregularities the front section overlaps the back section creating a shadow-line to visually reduce the impact of poor wall finish.

HOW DOES Q-AV CABLE MANAGEMENT IMPROVE PERFORMANCE?
The section fixed to the wall has four internal segments; by separating low level video and audio signal leads away from mains cables noise is reduced and picture quality is ptimised.

I WANT TO FIT A DVD PLAYER/ SKY BOX UNDER THE SCREEN
Use the optional aluminium equipment bracket to mount electronic components (up to 20kgs each) conveniently under your wall mounted screen. One or more brackets are fixed to the wall, using supplied screws and wall fixings, and the equipment's cables routed directly into the Cable Management System.

DO I NEED TO DRILL INTO THE WALL?
The Cable Management System can be fixed to the wall using supplied double-sided sticky pads provided the wall finish is sound. For a more secure fitting screws and wall fixings are supplied (screw fixing is necessary for the optional equipment shelf).
